Bridging Skills for Full Independence

Providing Accommodation and Support for 16/17 Year Old

Semi-Independent Setting

We take a holistic approach to the needs of young people with challenging behaviours and young people involved in, or at risk of offending. We strive to achieve the five outcomes identified in “Every Child Matters”: being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being. These principles and values are central to our work and service as we strive for young people to meet the five outcomes identified.

Our core aims fall across 3 broad themes:

  • Semi-independent accommodation for Young People:

Increasing and improving service delivery in every area.

  • Staff Recruitment, Inclusion and Continuous Personal Development:

Recognising the very significant and valued role that our staff will play in providing a quality service to the children and young people in our care.

  • Premises and Facilities:

Actively pursuing strategies to acquire premises to provide quality accommodation, location with close proximity to local services and allow further expansion and development of our services.

  • Security and opportunity must go hand in hand. Child protection must be a fundamental in our premises
