Oak Care Home wants to be the UK's leading independent provider of support for young people aged 16+. Our mission is to provide high-quality accommodation and support to young people across the country. Through our innovative services, we help young people reach their goals in an individualized manner.
In our experience, encouraging young people to make their own decisions boosts self-esteem and gives them the confidence they need in challenging life situations. It is our goal to empower individuals through our services, regardless of whether they need 24-hour assistance or just a few hours on a weekly basis. We are committed to providing a person-centered and customised level of help through our services that put the individual at the center.
We work in adherence to the Care Leaver’s Charter to ensure that all young people are provided with a positive, consistent, and excellent standard of care.
Our Supported Living service includes
Oak Care Care for Children employs a team of Project Workers who support the young people in our Supported Living homes to develop the practical and emotional skills required to live independently and reach their full potential.
The accommodation which is maintained, decorated, and furnished to a high standard overseen by our in the house maintenance team
A tailored independent living program
Accommodation is available 365 days a year with 24-hour support
Bespoke care packages and support hours dependent on individual needs
Support to register with local health providers
Support in accessing education, employment, and training
Support with future housing
AQA registration and support
Access to counseling and support in areas such as drug and alcohol, sexuality, sexual health, anger management, self-harm, safeguarding, etc.
Financial advice and assistance
Access to advocacy services
Support in joining the Care Leavers Association and a national voice for peer support and guidance.
